Good morning progressives!

So, probably, you have seen the election results where the right-wing has taken over the US House and made significant gains throughout the country.  They also suffered some pretty stunning loses.

Check out Free Speech TV .

Keep breathing, keep fighting for a better world.

As I see it, the House was passing all kinds of progressive legislation which would die in the Senate any way, and that was compromised away and corporatized to pass and be signed by Obama, so we will see what some leadership or NOT from the tea party folks does in the next two years.

Maybe it will encourage the democrats (no big “D” for you!) to get a backbone and fight for communities, because it is all in the process of not just mouthing platitudes, but also living them through inclusive transformative loving politics. Some of the worst of the tea party/republican candidates did not win, which is a relief, and some of the conservative corporate blue dog democrats lost too, bye-bye! so we will see que podemos hacer.

I think the political context we are living in is important to mention on here in this blog that focuses on transformation and building a better world, because we have to see what opportunities we can make real and how we can continue the hard work in our communities, and with the few and fewer allies we have in a corrupt political system.  And we can also continue the grassroots (no astroturf here!) work to fight climate change, to support real green technologies and living, to grow healthy food and to build the world we want with each other.

And speaking of platitudes, marketing and health, check out the link on soy in the blogroll ——–>

and let us know what you think.

¡Que viva miso y tempeh!

Stay up my peoples, just some dying gasps by the haters!
