This year’s pride march in Manhattan was very politicized, rejecting the fascist policies of Trump and his cronies in saying Black Lives Matter, supporting Palestine, women’s health, LGBT health, fighting for housing, and against privatization.
Corralled of course by the police, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating and resisting! One of the big things the cops did was to sound their sirens to get people to cheer, and not all of us did. What is the big deal, come to my hood and hear the cops sounding their sirens all day, every day. And no one is cheering!
