Hola, this is my blog to start connecting with folks about health issues by living in balance with the earth, La Madre Tierra as Indigenous folks in Colombia say.  This is a spot where we can share resources, share recipes, look & understand deeply at issues of how the earth is interconnected with our lives and how we can work in better harmony to create the kind of world we want, and the one of which we are getting more and more glimpses.  This blog also provides regular communication about my herbal healing consultation, Hierbas Madre Tierra Herbs.

In addition (another one), I have begun to study in a doctoral program in Earth & Environmental Sciences with a focus on Geography at the CUNY Graduate Center (yay, PUBLIC universities!).  I’m excited about all I will learn and share about the ethnobotany (the relationships between plants, nature & people) project I am doing with Indigenous and Afro Colombian communities in Cauca, Colombia.

I greatly appreciate  your comments, your ideas or whatever else you want to share here, all for the betterment and transformation of our world!
